Flooring is a long-term investment with a relatively high cost-benefit ratio that can last for decades!

You put time, resources, and emotions into beautifying your home or professional space. You know that you should hire a professional, but it’s hard to find the right one.

To make matters worse, hiring an inexperienced contractor can be tempting because they’re cheaper than experienced professionals. However, if they mess up your project, it’ll cost you a lot more, in the long run, to fix their mistakes and re-do everything on top of what you’ve already paid them for.

When you take the time to invest in your home or office space, hiring a professional contractor is worth it. Hire A-Resilient Contracting LC! With over 15 years of combined experience in the industry, you can avoid costly mistakes and long-term frustration by working with an experienced team like ours. We have plenty of satisfied customers who love our attention to detail, commitment to exceeding expectations, and transparency when discussing both costs for projects as well as material selections, so there are no surprises on either side.

Our flooring installation service generally breaks down into the following five phases:

  1. Consultation – During your free consultation, we will set the goals of your flooring investment and recommend the best options for you within your specific budget.
  2. Room Evaluation – Measure the room size, determine how much coverage you need, and then buy your desired flooring accordingly. Your floor selection should be acclimatized first before the installation.
  3. Floor Preparation – We strip the old floors, prep the subfloor, check your floorings’ condition, and make necessary repairs. Then, determine the flooring layout and transitions.
  4. Floor Installation and Finishing – When the surface is ready, we follow with installation. The process is simple, and methods can be different for each type of floor.
  5. Maintenance and Care – Our installation crew will walk you through the basics of caring for your new flooring. We will be keeping in touch to ensure that you remain satisfied throughout the job.

Installation usually takes 1-7 days; however, many factors come into play. The time required depends on how many square feet of materials are needed and the subfloor’s condition.

Different floor types follow different installation methods. But, a cleaner and prepared subfloor mean a faster installation. Necessary repairs are done before moving forward to ensure safety from unsafe conditions or injuries during the floor installation process.

Great flooring starts with a great surface. Therefore, proper floor preparation is a crucial step in a new installation. It’s a process of preparing existing surfaces to receive new flooring and ensure that your new floors will look, lay flat, stay bonded and not fail in any way possible.

After moving every piece of furniture out, the next step is to inspect both the floor and room for any potential obstacles that might affect our installation.

For instance, humidity and temperature are crucial when installing wood flooring. Testing for moisture and achieving the appropriate moisture content can eliminate future problems such as squeaks and sag.

While for carpet installation, you should first vacuum and remove any loose debris from existing carpets before stripping it off. Take care not to disturb dirt or dust while doing so. Afterward, clean underneath subfloors carefully, removing all nails or staples and filling in cracks where needed – lastly, make sure surfaces are free from grease, oil waxes, and dirt for when the new carpet gets laid out.

The procedure is almost the same for the different types of flooring materials available to you.

Choosing the right flooring type for your house is an important decision. Different types of floors have their pros and cons, so it’s essential to consider how each type will affect the look and feel of space before making a final selection. Consider factors like location, climate, lifestyle preferences, and styles you are looking for when choosing what kind of flooring to put in your house or office because many considerations need to be made.

When deciding on which type of floor best suits your needs: ask yourself questions about things such as where you live (i.e., city vs. suburbs), do you have kids or pets at home who might damage certain types of floors?, What style appeals most to you? (modern/traditional), Is durability more important than aesthetic appeal?

You also must consider where this new installation would best fit in the house, being mindful about what kind of furniture may already be set up in that space and whether color clashes with its surroundings.

Call us today, and we’ll provide you with an in-depth solution that’s adequate to your desired outcome.

There are several ways to find a tile installer: online, word-of-mouth, and referrals from people you know.

Since tile work demands meticulous attention to detail, a good installer constantly looks out for flaws and inaccuracies while on the job. A strong work ethic is also maintained to execute the job properly.

To make an informed decision in hiring a tile installation company, it helps to interview at least three prospects and ask them the right questions:

  • Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?
  • How long will it take to finish the project?
  • How many people will work on the project?
  • Can I see pictures of completed projects?

Know what to look for when scrutinizing the work of a tile installer:

  • Large gaps in the titles
  • Uneven spacing in the tiles, especially in areas around doors, windows, and corners
  • Uneven grout lines
  • Ill-fitting tiles
  • Unbalanced layout

Watch out for common red flags:

  • You don’t find any information about the company on social media.
  • They don’t have any photos of completed projects.
  • The contractors are asking for full payment upfront, often in cash.
  • They’re hard to reach on the phone.
  • They can’t provide at least three references.

Tile installers worthy of your business will get the work done right the first time. Contact us today to discuss your project.
