Greg Homer

Your Licensed General Contractor

Greg comes from a hardworking, blue-collar family; one side heavily Italian while the other deep-rooted Cajun. He was born and raised on a small farm in the Southwestern suburbs of Boston for just over 20 years before moving out to Arizona to play ice hockey for Arizona State University. After a couple of years of schooling, he decided to work for the United States Forest Service as a Wildland Firefighter while finishing off his last season on a Hotshot Crew stationed in Flagstaff, Arizona, during the 2017 fire season.

Greg’s background and work experience vary in the trades ranging from carpentry to pipe welding and roofing. During most of his time spent on both sides of the country, he was involved with various companies in the energy and solar industry on the business’s sales and customer development side. Although not in trades, Greg has a very long history in the hospitality industry. It carried him through some of the highest-grossing steakhouses in downtown Boston to some of the most coveted resorts that our valley of the sun has to offer.

Prior to living in Arizona, Greg attended a private Catholic High School, Xaverian Brothers, located just outside Boston. He continued his education to a private boarding school for a postgraduate year at The Winchendon School in Western Massachusetts and was recruited to play hockey and baseball.

As a young man, coming from a long line of Master Carpenters and tradesmen, Greg looked up to his father & father’s father, Mark & Ronald Homer. Ronald and Greg’s father, Mark, instilled their spirit and love for woodworking and precision craftsmanship.

“My Grandpa was a true salt of the earth who commanded respect through honesty, generosity, and being 100% self-reliant. Amongst being taught good morals and principles that I would later carry in my business, he helped to shape me as the man I have become today with fundamentals that were instilled in me at a young age.”

In his spare time, if he’s not grinding away at life, he’s most likely found getting lost in the desert on some dirt road or traveling somewhere he’s never been. Most importantly, if there were a few things he couldn’t live without, it’d have to be the great outdoors, Red Dirt country, and a cold Montucky Cold Snap or Coors Banquet.

Until next time,
